Ivan Zolotuhin

Ivan Zolotuhin (b. 1962) is a highly skilled contemporary painter and a prominent heir to the Moscow Realist tradition. Born in the Saratov region, he graduated from the Saratov Art College in 1986 before continuing his education at the nation's most prestigious academy, the Surikov Art Institute, graduating in 1994. At the Surikov, his immense skill was recognized as he was considered the most talented student of the legendary Professor V.N. Zabelin. A member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1998, Zolotuhin currently lives and paints in Moscow.

Zolotuhin's work is a testament to his elite academic training, demonstrating a masterful handling of light, color, and composition across multiple genres.
